Another Sports day in the history Of Huskie:

Empty bleachers are the standard at the NIU Soccer Complex and the athletics department might have shot itself in the foot.

This might be one of the major sports day in the history of Huskie, the athletic department decided to line up football’s game against Temple and the soccer match against No. 1 Akron.

Huskie Stadium will definitely be packed for a prospective MAC Championship prequel, there will be lot of fans, and students will be filled top notch energy to attend the both.

Hopes are really high in this soccer camp.
It has a capacity of fewer than 2,000, might be of a tall order.Attendance will be in DeKalb which has broken in 500 just twice from the season of 2005.The first one was in the year 2006 against Loyola in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
The athletics department is muscling all of its resources and trying up to improve the experience of all.
Temporary seating will also be provided behind one of the goal lines and that will be added somewhere in the ballpark of 600 seating capacity.
They are trying for reverse tailgating which will be executed in-between the games.
Along with all the promotions, it’s hard to believe that the NIU sports fan, which most likely doesn’t watch or enjoy the soccer, will be drawn here for the game after a partying and for an early football game.
